Girls in the Bay

This tournament will go ahead this Saturday regardless of the weather forecast.  If any restrictions are to be placed on fishing areas, species or anything else these will be communicated at briefing tomorrow night.  There is an awful lot of work that goes into organising a tournament with over 250 anglers and bad weather is the last thing we needed. The club will be aiming for the outcome that best suits most people but we are mindful that in these difficult circumstances we will be unable to please everybody.

Our aim is to allow as much fishing as we deem practicable but there is a huge focus on the entertainment factor and we are looking forward to everyone enjoying a couple of nights in the Blue Lagoon with a DJ on Saturday night.

All the prizes for the tournament that aren’t won by fishing, will be drawn.  Anglers must be present with their wristband on at prizegiving to be eligible to win a drawn prize.
