Message from NZSFC

Dear Club member, the Safer Boating Forum are running quarterly “Last Trip” survey’s to better understand NZ recreational boating safety issues. The NZSFC network of Clubs makes up a significant block of recreational power boat users and the SFB are keen to get our feedback. In the last survey NZSFC boaties made up 17.4% of the responses.

It would be great if all NZSFC Club members who spend time on the water this summer would take the time to fill out the survey. The survey is open to both passengers and skippers.

  • Have you been out on a boat recently? It could be a kayak, a jet ski, a stand-up paddleboard, dinghy or any other kind of watercraft.  If you are over 16, we want to hear from you.
  • Take this survey https://surveys.ipsosinteractive.com/mriweb/mriweb.dll?i.project=S21002818&id=&i.user9=16
  • You can go in the draw to win a lifejacket.
  • You can take the survey more than once. Each boat trip is different and it would be great if you do the survey after every boat trip. The survey takes about 10 minutes.
  • Maritime New Zealand and the Safer Boating Forum use the survey responses to help improve recreational boating safety in New Zealand.

Have a great weekend, shame about the weather!

Caroline
