Junior tournament – is on this weekend. Heaps of prizes and an offshore breeze so conditions should be good for much of the time.
Youth Nationals – Still over a week to go, so far we’re faring reasonably well but it would be good to see numbers boosted if only for this weekend when our Junior tournament is on. Only $5 entry and some fantastic prizes will be won.
Club records – 2 club records caught over the Easter weekend, both Skipjacks – Congratulations to Mathew Vaughan a Men’s Club record 8.54kg on 37kg line and James Davies a Junior Club record 7.91kg on 37kg
Club News – We’re expecting another busy weekend at the club with the school holidays in full swing. Our Super Rugby Teams are up against their international rivals with Chiefs vs Waratahs at 8pm on Friday, Blues vs Fijian Drua at 7.05pm on Saturday and a double header Highlanders vs Brumbies at 4pm Sunday followed at 6.30pm by Crusaders vs Rebels.
All games will be on the big screen although whether we play the Hurricanes vs Reds at 9.45pm on Saturday night will depend on numbers.
The Kitchen will be Open each night over the weekend until at least 8pm so we look forward to seeing you here for meal and a drink if you can make it.
Public Meeting – There will be a public meeting in our clubrooms on Sunday May 1st at 10.30am. Guest speaker is David Seymour, leader of the ACT party. Bar and Kitchen will be open if you want to have lunch here too.
