Weigh Station: The new fishing season starts 1st July, which is coming up very fast, we are now seeking interested Members that would like to become a weighmaster. Full training will be given, this is voluntary, and you will be put on a rostered system. Please call the office with your details and your co-ordinator will be in touch.
Tournament Schedule: The tournament dates are on the website, mark these dates on your calendar and get your holidays booked.
Snapper Tournament: Sat June 5th, please get your entries in as soon as you can, entries close at 4pm on Friday 4th. $20 per person and there is also a sweepstake $25 per boat to take out the heaviest snapper. Entry forms are in the clubrooms now and at the office during the day. You can also download the entry form from our website.
Fishing Report: Broadbill seem to be dominating this month with 7 either tagged or weighed. Congratulations to Mitchell Oliveira’s first ever Broadbill by a junior club member and is a junior club record on 60kg tackle.
Daniel Wilson’s double of a tagged Broadbill followed by his pending World record 282.8kg Broadbill which is the clubs heaviest game fish of the season.
Winter Tuna Tournament: (Southern Bluefin Tuna and Albacore) Tournament starts on 1st July and ends 31st August. Rules are being finalised and should be on the website late next week. Boat fee of $250.00. Prize giving will included in our club prize giving on 26th September, 2021.
TOP TEN ANGLER & BOAT AND POINTS : With a month to go in the season and hopefully quite a bit more fishing activity to come, it may be of interest to give points to date for the season for our leading boats and anglers.

#8 Gray Lucky night for Gray money and a chook, was a nice straight throw and an easy catch
#122 Gaylene Good solid throw from Adam, Gaylene missed it, the chook cleared the table behind her but didn’t hit the floor, Adam threw again and she caught it
#117 Peter Easier throw this time and well caught
#47 Ra Up from Christchurch visiting, Adam went easy on her and she easily caught it
#85 Glen Good solid throw, Glen was prepared and caught it nicely.
