Thanks to those who have already handed their trophies back.  Those that haven’t could you please do so as soon as you can so they can be cleaned and engraved for prize giving on the 28 September.

COMMITTEE AND OFFICERS

Nominations are open for the committee and officers for the 2019 – 2020 year. Nomination forms are on the bar or can be emailed to you upon request to the office during normal business hours. Nominations close 28th August so you have a bit of time to think about it. If you wish to nominate someone, second a nomination or if you are the person being nominated – you all must have already paid the subscriptions for the year that has just started,

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Just a reminder that if you catch a fish now, in order for it to be recognized by the club you must have paid this year’s subs.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

A memorial service is being held at the club for Don Ross, who was a life member of the club since 1975.  This is being held on the 6th August at 1.00pm in the Game Fish Club rooms for those that wish to join in with Don’s family to remember him.

JUNIOR RUGBY FUNDRAISER

We are hosting a Junior Rugby Fundraiser at our Club tomorrow night.  People will be buying tickets to come and watch the rugby.  All Blacks vs South Africa and complimentary nibbles will be included in the ticket price.  Music will commence at conclusion of the Rugby.

Our Club will still be open to members who want to come in, free of charge.  If you decide to come down to the club but you don’t want to buy a ticket or make a donation to local junior rugby,

please be aware that we are expecting a busy night and also respect the fact that the complimentary nibbles are provided for those who purchase a ticket.  The kitchen will be open as usual for you to purchase meals.
