FISHING

Nothing to report as I haven’t heard from anyone who has been fishing….

BEREAVEMENT (Sept 23 Funeral)

Unfortunately one of our club members passed away on Wednesday night.  Our condolences are with Charlie Jones’ family and friends.  Charlie’s funeral will be held in the Clubrooms on Monday, Sept 23 at 11.00 am

AGM & PRIZEGIVING

The AGM will start at 5.00pm on Saturday Sept 28th with prize giving getting under way soon after, culminating in the draw for the winner of the Sherriff Drainage/Coastline Excavations Tagging Club.
For those who missed the newsletter last week we are attaching the notices for the AGM and Financial Reports again for your perusal
View them on our website www.gamebase.co.nz  or click ‘here’

SUBSCRIPTIONS

We’ve had a god response to the payment of subs this year but there are still quite a few outstanding. Anybody that hasn’t paid this year’s subs by today will have to pay a $20 late payment fee and will not be included in any membership draws.

TRAILER BOAT TOURNAMENT

A big thanks goes to committee member Bryn Jones who has agreed to take on the role of convenor for the Trailer Boat Tournament. We’ll be giving Bryn as much support as he needs and we look forward to a successful tournament on 2020.

THANKS

To Gerald Homfeld for volunteering to man the front door on Scallop Festival night. Please make sure you have your membership cards on you when you come into the club.
